Endless context switching is really not promoting flow states, that I had when I programmed for ours… Which I consider what made it fun in the first place.
Me too. But do you think people outside of IT will get the same boost? I think that 90% of IT work would be totally redundant if people knew a little of Python, all we do is guardrails upon guardrails. I have a suspicion that AI constrained enough for your average office worker to understand what its doing is not going to be terribly productive.

It’s astonishing how quickly it changed the field there…
And indeed it’s quite a productivity tool since roughly half a year ago, not that it is fun, to use it all the time…
