windows uninstaller is just so bad that it cannot uninstall lot of preinstalled apps, any recommended uninstaller which is open source?
You could try this
https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutilIt’s been a while since I’ve done this but in Win10 days, if you wanted to get rid of the pre installed apps properly, you could use DISM from the MS Deployment Toolkit. It can remove just for the current user or from the entire install so they won’t appear if you create new users.
If you want to spend the time and effort, you can even mount the wim file from the iso and remove them offline, so you’ve removed them from the install media completely.
Looks like Win11 has a new but similar process: https://www.deploymentresearch.com/removing-applications-from-your-windows-11-image-before-and-during-deployment/
Windows will probably just reinstall them if you remove them or you might break stuff.
Probably not what you’re asking, but I use homebrew for all installs and uninstalls
I use Arch*, BTW.
*Arch=EndeavourOS
I used to use BCU back in the day.
what do you use now?
fedora
This is the best Windows uninstaller by far. 🤣
Effective to flush that slop down the drain. 🤭
