Yeah. I paid for Sync Pro and I’d gladly pay again (even though I’ve pretty much settled for Kbin), but I was expecting something like €4.99 not €21.99. Call me cheap but I’m not doing that.
Thanks, I saw it in another thread and installed it earlier. I’m mostly using Thunder because earlier it was the only client with haptic feedback, but it’s a bit rough around the edges. I used to use Infinity for Reddit before.
I don’t mind paying more since Lemmy is a smaller market but I’ll wait for a sale I think.
Sync for Reddit pro cost me €2.69 in 2015. €23 is a bit of a step up.

True, probably to adjust to how much the subscription model makes.
If you’ve ever used Infinity for Reddit, there is a version for Lemmy that just released too. It has no ads and is opensource.

Pihole at home is blocking it so far. I’d like to pay the developer when the price is a bit more in range.

I’m still probably going to hold out for Boost for Lemmy to come out, so I’m just on the $2/mo plan right now.
Lemmy has maybe 0.1% of the users Reddit has.
The dev can’t rely on tens of thousands of people paying a dollar, he needs thousands of people to pay ten dollars. Or whatever the equivalent is.
