The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office announced on Monday.
Do you know why we’re not pushing that percentage? People need to work. Sometimes two jobs, especially somewhere like Mississippi where the minimum wage is still $7.25. People can’t take a day off. Last time I voted in Mississippi, I was in line for 2 hours, and that was at like 11am because I was lucky to have a desk job that let me work from home and understood the importance of voting. Minimum wage jobs do not get that.
So glad I live in Washington state now where everyone gets their ballot mailed to them 2 weeks in advance. For general elections, we’re about 70-80% turnout.
I think preventing police from killing your children justifies missing two hours of work. Especially if it would cause a grand total of $14.50 gross income loss. Or fight to have elections on Sundays, like 80%+ of democracies do.
But I’ve spent some time close to France, so it might be their influence.
I would say something like “Hope you never get put into a situation where you can’t financially recover”, but you give off strong vibes of someone that’s been handed everything in life and armchair coaches.
Yeah, I emigrated twice in my life and had to start from 0 including learning a new language, twice. Tell me more about handing everything. It’s hilarious what a victim mentality americans have. “Land of the free”, as long as my boss allows it, otherwise “yes sir, whatever you say sir”.

But if missing two hours of work causes you to lose your minimum wage job, then it’s not just a $14.50 loss.
Let me take a screenshot of this comment, it’s too perfect.
Screenshoting comments that prove you’re an out of touch dumbass is a definitely a choice.
Yes. Now, go kiss your bosses butt.
