Nothing will change until the USA reforms the education system from the ground up, and even then it’ll take a couple of generations at least. The owner class will resist that every step of the way.

He’s a symptom, the issue is the rot of the general populace, the fact that he could get more than 5% of the vite at all shows how far we have fallen. It’s not one mans fault, it’s a society who is so selfish and ignorant that they vote in the most selfish ignorant leaders, and the most idiotic thing is that they truly believe someone just as selfish and ignorant as them will end up helping them, that they’ll be on the inside somehow. Instead we continue to spiral downward.

some of it, perhaps, is because America never fully reconciled its brutal origins or path to becoming a so-called ‘superpower’. nor have the people acknowledged the ongoing systemic violence enacted in America’s name.
progress is possible. America has made intermittent advances in civil rights and select areas where the public benefited. it isn’t all shit though it does feel that way at times.

Where I have been an informed voter, I have always voted for the greater good, for the policies and politicians that at least claim to be focused on the well-being of the individual, vetted to the best of my abilities.
