[I built this]

I built this, so take my words with a grain of salt. OpenFile is a free and open source (MIT) toolkit for working with files. PDF merge, split, compress and sign. Image resize, convert and background removal. Video and audio conversion. Fonts, archives, eBooks, and a few small local AI tools. Over 360 tools in all.

What makes it different from the usual converter sites is where the work happens. Everything runs inside your browser tab with WebAssembly and Web Workers. Your file is read into memory, processed, and handed back as a download. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and there are no watermarks or size caps.

You can install it as a PWA and use it fully offline, which is nice on a plane or on a bad connection. There are also desktop builds for Windows, macOS and Linux, and an Android build.

I would like feedback on two things. Which file task do you still end up doing on a random upload site because nothing local does it well. And which tools are missing for you.
