Hello World. Long time, no see! 6 months since my last post, and SO much has changed with this project. I’ll keep it short and sweet.
Stash is now a world class FOSS music player, thanks to all the feedback from real users.
It’s grown now to have:
-bit-perfect output to USB DACs (Android 14+)
-discord RPC
-browser streaming (stashfm.app)
-smart metadata tagging & library management
-listen parties
-hi-fi streaming & downloads
-custom recommendation engine
-infinite radios
-likes & history mirroring to spotify or ytm
-lastfm + listenbrainz scrobbling
-chromecast casting
-sharable links
-public playlist following
-clean & simple UI
I just launched early access to the website where you can stream on any device and link it to the app. Desktop & iOS releases are coming soon!
-GPL-3
-Free, no ads, no analytics
-logins stay on the phone, encrypted
-get the APK from GitHub, or Obtainium for auto-updates. Android 8.0+. Not on Play Store

sheesh, you’re jumping to conclusions harder than my ex!
What conclusions? You literally just said that on top of using “AI” to slopcode your software, you could have lied about it, as if that was a defense.
Someone comes to point out the problems of using LLMs, and your answer isn’t about using LLMs or not, but about lying about using them or not.
Why is everyone so nonsensical when it comes to AI?
If they had any sense, they wouldn’t be using it in the first place.
Legacy devs are extremely defensive, pretentious about AI lately. A 19 year old with a Claude subscription replaced you. Get over it.
