In an interview with 'the Post,' he said Britain’s trajectory should serve as a “warning sign” for the United States on immigration and social integration.

I’m pretty convinced that Florida and DeSantis are holding off on implementing a state income tax for the election. Their coffers are taking a hit from tourism. The whole state is artificially cheaper to run because of it and they are losing billions. https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/florida-tourism-numbers-decline-again-auguat-2026/ doesn’t spell it out as well as it could, but they’ve lost over a quarter million travlers and $50B

https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/_cache/files/34ac4070-d9e8-4160-a0ee-57cde9d65870/jec-report-on-tourism.pdf paints a pretty grim picture for the US Overall, but with Florida shedding 2.2% of jobs on the heels of the COVID tourism impact, the state is on thin ice tax-wise.

And here’s this politician saying “we will be fine”…
