Note that many people find S01E01 off-putting in a way different from the rest of the series. Up to you where you start, but if you start with the first episode I recommend watching at least two before judging.

Didn’t they do this in Orgazmo?
I only heard of that movie by reading about it in a story I had no business reading at a young age. I just looked it up to check the spelling and learned it was made by the creators of South Park. Neat!
With how promiscuous he is in the films, that would make sense.

What kind of lunatic is going to covertly monitor someone else’s shits?

I read it in my early twenties, almost twenty years ago. I am not a developer but am in the same area. I always wear some form of shoes when I leave my house unless I enter someone else’s house. I don’t think I have trouble with personal space but I don’t really see anyone other than my wife and kid.
I remember liking some of the themes of the book but, reflecting on it now, yes, Heinlein can be problematic.
Over the last weekend I was surprised to learn that you can’t stream from the mobile web interface of at least some, if not most, of the streaming apps.

That’s a nerdy-ass pun.

I remember that affect starts with an a, while effect starts with an e and verb has an e in the middle, so the one that doesn’t start with an e is the verb.

That would be Weird.

I’m out of touch WRT hardware, but it looks like the PS5 uses something called GDDR memory. Your standard desktop or laptop most likely would use DDR. I’m not familiar with GDDR, though I’m guessing just based on the letters that it helps run graphics; still, it probably would not work with your tower or notebook.
I’m sure someone else in the thread can provide a more informed answer.

Got it. Buy PS5, harvest memory.
You sound like ElectroBOOM.
And she seems into it.

I recall this being announced a decade or more ago. At the time, I wasn’t so jaded and was more surprised than anything else that it was opt-out rather than opt-in.
Now I’m more annoyed than surprised.

Isn’t there a theory that one reason kissing is a thing is that it was a way for neanderthals and early humans to exchange germs / bacteria / whatever and thus help to build communal immune systems?
I haven’t used Manjaro in many many years, but IIRC it was the first distro I used that reliably supported Wi-Fi.

Back when bash.org was a thing (I’m aware it has since been archived in multiple places), there was a quote that went something like “you only have a name because your mother was suspicious it took nine months to take a shit.”

A long, long time ago, someone told me that crimes are committed separately. (I don’t even remember the person who told me this.) The situation that was discussed in that conversation was that a burglar had entered a home illicitly, fallen due to some code violation, and hurt themself.
The homeowner was able to conduct a case against the invader, but the criminal was also able to sue for … Whatever you sue for when you get hurt in someone else’s house. Neither jury was allowed to know the details of the other’s case, or perhaps they were instructed to disregard their knowledge.
The point is, in one possible suit the person we would likely agree is the victim is legally the victim; and in the other they are legally the perpetrator. According to the law, the two are not relevant to each other.
… Is what I was told decades ago by this person I barely remember.
The choice is yours, of course, but as others have pointed out each episode is at least semi self contained. I’m a bit behind, but none of the others I’ve seen have been at all like that and most have been very worth watching.
