I think people need to start forgiving themselves in some situations than forgiving others.
I’m in the process of trying to forgive myself for a lot of things, when from experience, forgiving the other person for doing shitty things was seen as just given a pass for them.
Ubuntu has been the sacrificial lamb for this very example. People have praised Ubuntu for years, heralded it as the Linux OS of choice to go to, to tip their toes in from having Windows. But Canonical has been making dumb decision after dumb decision to where Ubuntu has now created a split in community where people prefer Mint.

Except the reality is, is that there are managers who will and have asked you to “please work another hour” or “can you just stay a little while?” of which I have been actually asked and I always have turned down. When Morris is visiting family, for example, her main focus is on them. But if there’s something at work that needs her attention, she won’t wait until she’s back in the office to do so. Work-life integration helps her stay on top of her work duties while still showing up for herself and the people she loves, she says.
I hope your family dies while you’re working so you won’t get to say your ‘goodbye’ to them - just like many have had to when they’re too strapped by work to even see much less, talk to family members. Just like people who can’t spend the holidays with loved ones, because they’re having to be at the store working for last-minute ungrateful shoppers. Or how much time a worker misses their children’s firsts because they gotta put food on the table.
“You might be [at your kid’s] soccer game, but you happen to look at a few emails,” Morris says. Maybe you’re chatting with your boss via text while waiting for an appointment, or tying up a few loose ends at work before you put the kids to bed. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a workaholic who lacks boundaries — rather, you find ways to combine your personal and professional duties that work for you, instead of being strict and inflexible with your time.

We are going to see a lot of this happening for years to come. Where this administration will literally and has done throughout this year alone. As they try to dismantle one government agency after another only for the leftover and relatively sane representatives remaining having to step in and be like “no, what are you doing? are you trying to throw this country into anarchic chaos?”

And yes you’d be right, it was Congress who passed a law that included the creation of this agency, Obama signed it into law. So once again, unsurprisingly, this loose-excuse of an administration breaks the fucking law. Because of course that’s all that they’re good at.
It’s easier for him to say this when he lives with his mommy or daddy, working part-time that he considers “work hard” and chugging down Monster energy drinks like the good capitalist doggie that he is.

Yeah my apartment landlord posted papers on the building doors about these guys. I looked into it myself, signed up but made no commitment to the system. I’ve read a few reviews from people who tried it, all were nightmares for them. I had actually thought this business was where you can pay some of the rent now and payback later, preferably on a payday.
However, the logic doesn’t add up since landlords typically want everything by the first day of the month when its due. So, Flex didn’t align with my thoughts which honestly would’ve alleviated some pressure financially, but they cram everything to be due by within the month. It is like, why the fuck bother?

Also, we aren’t for sure certain how many of those people are uniquely downloaded from Windows and specifically the purpose or reason.
Some could’ve downloaded Zorin for experimental purposes. Some could’ve downloaded it from a Windows VM. Some could’ve downloaded it from Windows when they’re in a dual-boot system.
Hate to burst that bubble, but you need to consider these things before big numbers are boasted. There’s a lot of variables involved.
