I don’t see myself doing something that can be easily automated but you do you
I was around when that was an active topic back then so I am aware. It’s just I don’t trust any or most companies to respect it anyway. Also as someone else suggested, look into automation lol, I thought you had something like an email signature that gets added automatically.
Honestly I don’t believe it would help myself but who am I to tell you what to do. As someone else mentioned, it’s probably people who simply have to correct others when they don’t share the option. Doubt it would be anything like being in support of LLMs, probably the opposite.
I am getting annoyed on your behalf lol. Why do people feel the need to screech at others doing something harmless when they could just shut up and ignore it is beyond me. Not a fair comparison but it does feel like republicans shouting at trans people.
We got tailscale installed on all of our devices with them connected to my PC so I think using exit node will solve the IP issue. Thanks for the tip.
Damn that’s insane. We always had a bit trouble finding games to play together that we all have, waiting for a sale and what not. This would be really nice to play with some close friends and family.
I have been using freetube for a while now which is also facing this issue so it looks like a tug of war between the clients and YouTube which is getting others in the crossfire as well. But for some reason, when I add haruna as external player in freetube and launch a video it always works. Guessing other video players like vlc might also work which you can use with freetube and maybe other privacy focused clients.
Nah disagree, I often check google maps just for reviews if I want to find it try a new restaurant. But I can imagine how difficult that would to implement in oss and most importantly, moderating it would be near impossible.
From what I can see, arm Linux itself is still a very small market so I don’t see how a small company could work on it and make a profit from that. Maybe once it becomes more mainstream and there is a bigger demand for it, they would definitely consider it. I would rather have them focus on what they have and expand their production, cost and sales region at the moment.
I think few people missed the sarcasm
It is still just another Linux distro which doesn’t seem that locked down. I don’t own a steam deck but I imagine it should be possible to set it boot to desktop with some simple tinkering. In worst case scenario, you might be able to install another distro and get all the tweaks and apps yourself. The toggle can be done with some widgets and script ig.
Oh definitely but my comparison was with Firefox using ublock origin so didn’t mention the ads. YouTube with ads is literally unusable for me and I don’t wanna pay money to google either. I haven’t seen YouTube recommendation page in so long so can’t remember how bad it is lol.
Because your reports doesn’t matter. They don’t have any morals to begin with and will only comply for legal threats.
I use a 3rd party app Freetube. Don’t need a google account and you can set multiple subscription profiles for different types of content. I only find new channels from suggestions for each video but stick to subscription as home page. But as with any 3rd party front end, YouTube is in constant battle with them, especially with vpn which can break things once in a while but it is a price you have to pay for a bit of privacy.
This is there first time I am learning about this and I am also finding it difficult to accept
The article mentions AMD GPU so I am assuming they are talking about Intel arc GPU
Maybe a CSS would work, stylus is fairly easy to use
I chuckle as I keep scrolling
Their wallpaper is from KDE plasma
What about ivpn? I was planning to try that myself.
