I tried this on a trip a couple days ago and had to go back to Google. It wasn’t giving me street names or exits in the navigation. It’d say take the next right instead of take exit 17 for example. Completely missed a fork and didn’t tell me which way to go. Google has issues too but first impressions for organic was not positive.

As for what was the op, its probably nothing in taxes as the company plans to make money off the chilled and filtered to offset the cost of installing the units. The government your taxes pay for probably mandated the free tap to let them install them.

They have those at a lot of parks that I take my dogs to in my state in the US too. Usually free poop bags too, and yet half still can’t be bothered.

I got onto the biggest one (I think pixelfed.social) but it seems to be down frequently. When it works it’s fine. Figure it’s probably growing pains, I know lemmy was the same after the reddit exodus and it’s been much better lately.

I don’t know if I happened to just get lucky, but I was having issues in firefox mobile and had to temporary instal chrome for the account creation. Not sure if chrome actually fixed the issue or if the server just happened to come back up after I switched.

I don’t really use reddit anymore but I have an android app called stealth that lets you browse. Can’t login, but for web links and such its much better than old.

Yet another check in the box of reasons not to renew plus. I’m still on extra until July, been a plus member since ps3, and would always buy a year during black friday sales. With the massive price increase and now this, I’m actually logging what games I play off plus to see if the cost is still worthwhile.

As far as the earlier expiration, I always just redeem for the $5 store credit. No point in saving up more, you don’t get better deals for saving and redeeming for the $20 credit.

Depends on whether they start making shows with ad breaks in mind. Because the cut where the ad was, while not nearly as annoying as an actual ad, still diminishes the quality of the show imo.
